Applicants should hold, or be close to completing, a Master’s degree in life sciences such as biomedical, biotechnological, veterinary, or pharmaceutical sciences. The post asks for strong academic results, excellent English, experience with stem cell culture and molecular techniques, willingness to work with pigs and tissue, and the ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team. A valid driving licence in Belgium is required; Dutch is an advantage but not mandatory.

What's required
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in life sciences, specifically (bio)medical, biotechnological, veterinary or pharmaceutical sciences, or expect to obtain it before starting. Strong academic results are required. Essential skills include experience in stem cell handling and culture, molecular techniques, willingness to work with animal models including pigs and tissue, proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office, SPSS/Prism and EndNote, ability to learn new analytical methods, independent work in a multidisciplinary team, self-motivation, organisation, time management, excellent English, attention to detail, and willingness to acquire external funding. A valid driving licence in Belgium is required.
