Eligibility highlights include a relevant Master’s degree (3+2 Bologna / 120 ECTS), completion before enrolment, a strong academic record, a Master’s thesis grade of 10 or equivalent, social-science background, and very high-level academic English. In rare cases, the grade requirement may be waived; top-40% documentation can also be accepted.

What's required
Applicants need a Master's degree corresponding to the 3+2 Bologna process (120 ECTS / 2-year MSc), completed before starting the PhD, with an educational background in the social sciences. Required academic performance is a weighted GPA of at least 8.2 on the Danish 7-point scale for bachelor’s and master’s combined, or 9.5 for the master’s alone; alternatively, proof of being in the top 40% of the class may be accepted if the grade requirement is not met. A grade of 10 or equivalent is required for the Master’s thesis. Applicants must have very strong academic English. The project prefers applicants with excellent grades and proven competence in quantitative methods; experience with qualitative case research is an advantage.
