About this position

PhD scholarship at DTU Physics, Technical University of Denmark in Denmark on multimodal quantum materials devices. Eligibility highlights: a two-year master's degree (or equivalent) is required, and the ideal candidate has hands-on experience in microfabrication, nanofabrication, or experimental device work. The post is a 3-year full-time PhD scholarship with salary/allowance under the Danish collective agreement. No EU-programme funding is attached.

What's required

Applicants should have a strong experimental background in condensed matter physics, nanoscience, materials science, electrical engineering or a related field. Hands-on experience with microfabrication, nanofabrication or experimental device work is expected, along with comfort in systematic laboratory work, data analysis and troubleshooting. A two-year master's degree (120 ECTS) or an equivalent degree at master's level is required; applicants may apply before obtaining the degree but cannot start before it is awarded.
