Funding: 100% Home fees covered plus a minimum tax-free annual living allowance of £21,805. Research funds are available for field and lab work. International applicants may apply, but they must cover the difference between Home and International fees.
Eligibility: minimum 2:1 Honours degree or international equivalent in a relevant subject; IELTS 6.5 with all sub-skills for non-native English speakers; ATAS clearance may be required for international applicants.

Applicants must have, or expect to gain, at least a 2:1 Honours degree or international equivalent in a subject relevant to the proposed PhD project. Applicants whose first language is not English require an IELTS score of 6.5 with all sub-skills met. International applicants may need ATAS clearance and must cover the difference between Home and International fees.
