What's required

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering is mandatory. For foreign degrees, recognition of the degree and conversion of the final classification to the Portuguese scale is requested, or a declaration of honour stating recognition will be obtained by the application deadline. Preferred candidates have experience in machine learning and deep learning for biomedical signal processing, signal acquisition in clinical settings, Python programming, and biomedical signal processing for neuromuscular disease populations. Preference is also given to candidates who have completed or are completing a master’s thesis. Good organizational skills, teamwork ability, and good technical English for reading scientific literature are required/preferred.
