Work includes pre- and post-mortem analysis, corrosion testing, flow-rate/current-density/SOC studies, RTE evaluation, long-term stability and accelerated aging tests, and SOC/SOH monitoring. Applicants should have an MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or Chemistry, with strong electrochemistry background, experience in energy storage testing, potentiostat and battery cycler use, Python data analysis, and good laboratory practice.

R&D Chemistry Intern: The internship centers on electrolyte development for next-generation membrane-less redox flow batteries. Tasks include synthesizing new materials/molecules/formulations, performing electrochemical and physicochemical characterization (e.g. cyclic voltammetry, lab-scale battery testing, conductivity, stability analysis, spectroscopy), and supporting electrolyte preparation and battery-cell development. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science, with a solid foundation in Organic Chemistry and good understanding of Physical Chemistry and/or Electrochemistry.
