PhD Candidate in Immersive Technologies, AI, and Consumer Experience in Marketing and Supply Chain Management Maastricht University in Netherlands

Maastricht University School of Business and Economics is recruiting a PhD candidate for research on immersive technologies and consumer experience in food service, hospitality, and retail.

The project sits at the intersection of marketing, business, management, psychology, and digital technology, with a focus on how AR, VR, XR, AI, and multisensory technologies reshape consumer behaviour. The successful candidate will run experiments in cutting-edge AR/VR labs and a CAVE environment, and will collaborate with industry partners through the Limburg Immersive Technology (LIT) Network.

This is a 4-year full-time, fully funded, employed PhD position at Maastricht University SBE, specifically in the Marketing and Supply Chain Management (MSCM) department, in cooperation with Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.

Supervision/mentorship is listed from Dominik Mahr, Jonas Heller, Dai-In Danny Han, and Tim Hilken. The post emphasizes academically relevant and practically relevant research, with access to state-of-the-art immersive research facilities including DEXLab and the Food Experience Lab.
