About this position
PhD course in Environmental DNA (eDNA) methods in ecology and conservation offered by the Graduate School of Technical Sciences at Aarhus University.
This interdisciplinary course introduces the use of eDNA for biodiversity monitoring, species detection, and ecosystem assessment across freshwater, marine, terrestrial, airborne, and arctic systems. Course details: 19–23 October 2026, 65 total hours including preparation, capacity 25, English language, 4 ECTS. Location: Aarhus University, Risø, Frederiksborgvej 399, 4000 Roskilde, Denmark. Course fee: free for Danish PhD students; 2000 DKK for PhD students from outside Denmark.
