What's required
Applicants must hold a relevant master's degree in social sciences, education, science and technology studies (STS), philosophy, or another relevant field at the time of applying. A grade of B or higher on the master's thesis, or the average grade of the qualifying degree, is normally required for admission to the PhD programme at the Faculty of Psychology. Applicants must be able to work independently and in a structured manner, have good collaboration skills, and possess excellent written and oral English skills. Evidence of interest in ethical issues raised by AI in learning contexts is an advantage. Applicants must not have previously held a fixed-term PhD Research Fellow appointment at the University of Bergen and must not already hold a PhD.
