About this position
PhD opportunity at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, France, on probing conformational membrane protein dynamics by time-resolved X-ray solution scattering (TR-XSS).
You will join the ID09 team at the ESRF, an international research centre known for ultrabright X-ray beams and ultrafast X-ray science. The project focuses on two biologically and medically important membrane proteins: the zinc-transporting ATPase SsZntA and the dopamine D2 receptor. The work combines advanced synchrotron experiments, time-resolved structural biology, analysis of dynamic molecular processes, and method development at a world-leading large-scale facility.
