About this position

What's required

Applicants must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in informatics/computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related field, or complete the final exam by 30.11.2026 if the degree is not yet finished. Required qualifications include documented competence in machine learning at Master level, documented programming skills, at least three documented mathematics or statistics courses with passing grade B or better in the Norwegian system, and fluent oral and written English. The post also expects strong academic performance, with the usual grade norms of C or better at bachelor level and B or better at master level, plus a master’s thesis graded B or better. Desired qualifications include Python programming experience and experience with machine learning theory, evaluation metrics, algorithmic fairness, statistics, or optimization. Applicants must also be security-eligible.
