The role also values excellent English communication, German as an asset, teaching and supervision experience, and a collaborative mindset suited to multidisciplinary research.

Responsibilities include conducting pioneering research on real-time reinforcement learning, addressing sample efficiency challenges, leading and mentoring a small team, translating solutions into human experiments, publishing in peer-reviewed venues, presenting at conferences, and contributing to third-party funding applications.
