About this position

Postdoctoral position in chromatin dynamics during extreme desiccation tolerance at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala, Sweden.

The successful candidate will have access to advanced microscopy infrastructure at Uppsala BioCenter and will work in a collaborative environment spanning plant cell biology, genetics, genomics and developmental biology.

Eligibility: PhD in plant biology, molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, genomics or a related field. Experience with molecular biology methods, cell biology and plant developmental biology is advantageous. Strong English communication skills, independence, initiative, and collaborative ability are expected. The post is aimed at junior researchers, with a doctoral degree no more than three years old.

Employment: Temporary employment for 24 months with possible extension, 100% scope.
