KTH Royal Institute of Technology is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Communication Systems Division in Stockholm, Sweden. The position is connected to major European and Swedish research initiatives, including RAI-6Green and the SWE-WIN center, with a focus on building resilient, robust, and energy-efficient wireless networks for emerging services.

The research agenda centers on resource management, network orchestration, and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC). The successful candidate will work on energy-efficient network design, optimization across network components, and the development of sensing algorithms and ISAC solutions. The role also includes leading collaborative tasks in national and international projects, contributing to publications in top journals and conferences, and participating in experimental demonstrators and standardization-oriented activities.

This postdoctoral appointment is highly collaborative and multidisciplinary, with interaction across academia, industry, and public-sector partners. The project environment includes connections with organizations such as Ericsson, Tele2, and RISE, as well as other European companies and research institutions. Eligibility and requirements: applicants must hold a doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree by the time the employment decision is made. A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field is required. The advertisement emphasizes a strong research record in wireless communications, networking, or optimization, together with background in at least one of the following: integrated sensing and communication, cell-free massive MIMO beamforming and MIMO algorithms, or joint optimization of communication and computing resources. A PhD obtained within the last three years is preferred. Experience with simulation frameworks, system-level performance evaluation, or machine learning is highly valued. Strong English communication and writing skills are necessary, and prior mentoring of MSc or PhD students is considered meritorious.
