About this position

Applicants should have a PhD (or a scheduled defence before the start date) in physics, optical engineering, biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field. Strong experimental skills in modern imaging, microscopy, optical design, and optical measurements are required, along with programming ability in Python / MATLAB / LabVIEW, fluent English, and good teamwork and organization skills. Experience in optical/biological labs and advanced data analysis is an advantage.

What's required

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in physics, optical engineering, biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field by the start date (or have a defence date scheduled before employment begins). Required experience includes very good experimental skills in modern imaging methods, microscopy, optical design, and optical measurements; at least 4 years of experience in the field; good programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW; fluent English; reliability, good work organization, teamwork skills, and experience disseminating research results. Laboratory experience in optical or biological settings and knowledge of advanced data analysis are advantageous. Polish is listed as mother tongue and English as excellent.
