About this position
Postdoctoral Associate at Stony Brook University, United States
This full-time postdoctoral opening is in the Department of Pathology at Stony Brook University, working with Dr. Mario Shields and the Shields laboratory. The lab studies the mechanisms of development and progression of diseases affecting the exocrine pancreas, especially pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis. Current projects focus on the roles of G-protein signaling and cell polarity in pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis, including how pancreas-specific deletion of Ga13 affects tumor development, tumor metabolism, and inflammation.
