The role also includes publication in conferences and high-impact journals, supervision of Bachelor and Master theses, and related administrative duties.

Eligibility highlights: applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, completed within the last three years unless special circumstances apply. Strong experience is expected in GIS, spatial analysis, spatial modelling, GeoAI, WebGIS development, graph-based deep learning, human mobility simulation, and Python for geospatial data processing. Very good English and strong collaborative skills are required.

Preferred experience includes cloud/monitoring/automation foundations, foundation models and LLMs, teaching GIS-related courses, and supervising theses.
