Responsibilities include experimental design, advanced microscopy, multiplex RNA/protein detection, cell culture, transcriptomic analysis, data interpretation, manuscript preparation, scientific presentations, and grant applications. The lab environment is collaborative and multidisciplinary, with opportunities to develop independent research questions and pursue fellowship or career-development funding.

Applicants should hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree in neuroscience, molecular/cellular biology, neurobiology, neuropathology, biomedical engineering, or a related field. Prior lab experience and strong scientific productivity, including peer-reviewed publications, are required. Helpful experience includes microscopy, human postmortem brain research, iPSC-derived neural/glial/vascular models, single-cell sequencing, molecular biology, histology, neurovascular biology, neuroimmunology, and bioinformatics.
