The successful candidate will work closely with Chief Investigators and project partners on experimental design, survey and behavioural-measure development, farmer recruitment, regional workshops, field-team coordination, research ethics, data quality, causal analysis, and academic publications/policy outputs.

Eligibility highlights: PhD completed or submitted in economics (or a closely related area) with strong expertise in randomised controlled trials or field experiments, advanced econometrics/causal inference, and statistical programming in R or Stata. Experience with survey design, quantitative data management, reproducible research, and stakeholder engagement is important. The role also requires willingness to travel regularly across rural and regional Victoria for fieldwork.
