Technical University of Munich (TUM) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher in Sectoral and Integrated Modelling of Climate, Resources and Economic Policy at the Chair of Agricultural Production and Resource Economics in Freising-Weihenstephan, Germany.

The position sits at the intersection of agricultural economics, environmental science, economics, and statistics, with a strong quantitative and policy-analysis focus. Research themes include climate adaptation and resilience in agri-food and natural resource systems, agricultural market and policy analysis (including AGMEMOD and CAPRI), economic policy assessment and forecasting using CGE and related models, and integrated climate-land-use-economy modelling to study trade-offs among food production, biodiversity, ecosystem services, and climate objectives.

The successful candidate will join an internationally active, interdisciplinary team contributing to major European and national projects, including Horizon Europe initiatives such as LANDPRINT and AQUAWISE. The role also offers the chance to develop an independent research agenda, help shape future research proposals, and contribute to teaching activities.

Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a strong background in agricultural, environmental, resource, climate, food, or sustainability economics, or a related quantitative discipline, together with demonstrated expertise in modelling and policy analysis.
