About this position

Required experience includes basic knowledge of Earth system dynamics and global mass transport and distribution, especially analysis, interpretation, and prediction of disturbances in Earth’s rotational motion; expertise in modelling mass changes in Earth’s liquid reservoirs using contemporary geophysical and climate models and ground-based and satellite observations; very good programming skills, primarily in Matlab, Fortran, or other languages, with experience in numerical modelling and time series analysis; fluent spoken and written English; good communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team; and ability to write scientific publications. Candidates must also meet the conditions of the Polish Academy of Sciences Act and the NCN regulations for postdoctoral employment.
