About this position
Nicolaus Copernicus University is offering a postdoctoral researcher position within the project “ANFIBIOM – an anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic biological medicinal product modulating wound healing”. The post is based in the Faculty of Medicine, specifically the Department of Regenerative Medicine / Department of Urology and Andrology CM NCU in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
This is a temporary, part-time appointment (30 hours per week) with a planned start date of 16 November 2026. The application deadline is 6 November 2026 at 23:59 Europe/Warsaw.
The project sits at the intersection of regenerative medicine, cell and molecular biology, immunology, and preclinical biomedical research. The successful candidate is expected to work on biological material and experimental systems relevant to wound healing, with particular emphasis on cell lines, primary human and animal cell cultures, PBMCs, regenerative approaches, stem cell biology and/or extracellular vesicles. The role also involves standard molecular and immunochemical assays such as nucleic acid isolation, reverse transcription, qPCR, ELISA, and Western blotting, alongside data analysis and preparation of research documentation.
Eligibility is aimed at candidates with a doctoral degree in medical and health sciences, biological sciences, biotechnology, or a closely related discipline. The advertisement places strong emphasis on prior laboratory experience, publications, experience with laboratory animals, statistical analysis, independent experimental planning, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. Very good English is required. Additional experience in biological medicinal product development, preclinical studies, GMP-compliant work, SOP development, method validation, or industry collaboration will be an advantage.
Applicants should submit a cover letter with the personal data processing information, the required information clause form, a copy of the doctoral diploma, a CV, documents confirming relevant experience, a list of publications and conference presentations, and copies of diplomas. Applications are to be sent by email to [email protected].
This opportunity is suitable for researchers with a strong biomedical profile who want to contribute to translational work on anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic therapies for wound healing.
