About this position

The Université Bourgogne Europe is hiring a Research Engineer for a project on theranostic nanoparticles and nanomedicine at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Carnot de Bourgogne (ICB, UMR 6303 CNRS–UBE) in Dijon, France.

The position is part of the iNanoT project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and involves collaborative work with academic and clinical partners. The research focuses on the development of theranostic nanovectors and the study of nanoparticle–biology interactions, especially at the biointerface.

Planned activities include preparation and validation of nanovector samples; physicochemical characterization (DLS, zeta potential, FTIR, XPS, TGA, etc.); incubation in biological fluids and cell culture media; analysis of cellular responses such as cytotoxicity, oxidative stress, and differentiation; development of methods to separate proteins adsorbed onto nanovectors; protein analysis on nanoparticle surfaces (electrophoresis, LC-MS/MS); data processing and statistical analysis; writing scientific articles; drafting SOPs and technical protocols; and routine laboratory tasks.

Ideal candidates should have a background in nanomaterials, chemistry, materials science, biochemistry, or related fields, with experience in nanoparticle characterization and biological assays. Interest in nanomedicine, biointerfaces, and theranostics is highlighted.

No deadline or formal application email is provided in the post. Applicants should use the LinkedIn post link for further details and application instructions.
