The role includes designing and executing research projects, running ligand-binding assays, managing animal facility work, performing animal behavior experiments, analyzing drug-protein interactions using computational tools, presenting at conferences, and contributing to practical teaching and supervision of bachelor projects, internships, and master’s theses.
Applicants should hold a Master of Science degree in biology, biotechnology, or a related field, and should have strong knowledge of antidepressants, ligand-binding assays, molecular docking, and laboratory animal procedures. Experience in neuroscience and practical biological experiments is an advantage. A credential for laboratory animal experiments from South Korea or Belgium/EU is required, and B2-level English proficiency must be demonstrated unless an exemption applies.
Funding is provided through a salaried assistantship. The contract runs for 1 + 1 + 2 + 2 years, up to a maximum of six years subject to positive evaluation.
