We are hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher in 7T Neuroimaging at IfADo – Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors in Dortmund, Germany , with regular work in Magdeburg . The position is part of the DFG Research Unit “Layers of Memory” and is embedded in the research group “Neuroimaging and Interindividual Differences” . The project, “Laminar connectivity in the MTL: Precision neuroimaging and relevance for performance,” focuses on how laminar microstructure and connectivity in the medial temporal lobe relate to memory performance and functional MTL responses. The successful candidate will plan, conduct, and analyse multimodal 7T MRI studies, integrating qMRI , diffusion MRI , and functional imaging , and will develop analysis strategies for laminar data in the hippocampus and adjacent cortical areas. The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with Prof. Dr. Oliver Speck and collaborate between the Dortmund and Magdeburg teams. The role is a full-time appointment for 4 years with salary at TV-L E13 . Applicants should have a completed PhD and experience in structural and functional MRI .
