The PhD project, Dual-omics Profiling and Ensemble Machine Learning for Mapping Cell State Dynamics and Exposure Thresholds in Response to Nanoplastic–Biotoxin Co-exposures, investigates how human cellular systems respond to emerging environmental contaminants. The work integrates proteomics, metabolomics, biosensing technologies, and ensemble machine learning to advance predictive toxicology, human exposome research, environmental health risk assessment, and evidence-based policy development.

Funding is provided through the Graduate Research Excellence Scholarship (GRES) and includes a full tuition fee waiver, a monthly living stipend, and support for up to 3.5 years.

Eligibility highlights: applicants should hold a First Class Honours (H1) degree or an equivalent qualification recognised by Monash University Malaysia, demonstrate English language proficiency according to Monash admission requirements, and have a strong academic background relevant to the project.
