University of Otago PhD Scholarship

The University of Otago is advertising a fully funded PhD scholarship for a project on seasonal rainfall and river flow forecasting using machine learning methods.

This opportunity sits within Climate & Energy and the Centre for Sustainability Research, and the successful candidate will work with Jen Purdie and Prof Peter Whigham. The project is strongly aligned with environmental science, earth science, computer science, statistics, and machine learning, with a focus on data-driven forecasting for climate and hydrological systems.
