ARC Training Centre for Current and Emergent Quantum Technologies Scholarships

PhD scholarship opportunity at Adelaide University through the ARC Training Centre for Current and Emergent Quantum Technologies (QuTech).

The highlighted project is Bacterial Sterilisation Using Quantum Light, supervised in the QuTech program and linked to real-world healthcare innovation with Lindo. This is a fully funded PhD scholarship. The scholarship information on the QuTech site states a stipend of $36,161 per year (indexed annually) plus a $10,000 top-up per year, for up to 3.5 years. International applicants should note that mandatory Overseas Student Health Cover is not covered by the scholarship.

Eligibility: Australian citizens or permanent residents are eligible, and international students who can be accepted as HDR candidates at the host universities may also apply. For this specific project, domestic AU/NZ applicants are preferred, though strong international applicants are welcome. Applicants should have a strong research background and provide academic documents plus evidence of English language proficiency.
