The University of Twente in the Netherlands is offering funded scholarships for international students to pursue master's degrees in a wide range of fields for the 2026 academic year. The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is open to outstanding students from non-EU/EEA countries who have been (provisionally) admitted to a qualifying master's program starting in September 2025. Eligible fields include Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Civil Engineering & Management, Environmental & Energy Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Robotics, Biomedical Engineering, Philosophy of Science, Technology & Society, and more.

The scholarship provides financial support ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year if academic requirements are met. Additionally, recipients of the UTS may be eligible for the Kipaji scholarship, which offers up to €12,000. The funding is intended to cover study-related expenses, including tuition fees and living costs, giving students flexibility in how they allocate the funds.

To be eligible, applicants must have received an academic entrance letter and be accepted into a master's program at the University of Twente. Only non-EU/EEA international students are eligible; Dutch nationals and current University of Twente students are not eligible. Applicants must also meet English language proficiency requirements, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (and at least 6.0 in speaking) or a TOEFL iBT score of 90 (with at least 20 in speaking). A valid entry visa for the Netherlands is also required.
