Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity / Electronic Systems (Tenure Track) Aalborg University in Denmark

Aalborg University is advertising Assistant Professors in Electronic Systems with the possibility of tenure track at its Copenhagen campus. The post is especially relevant for researchers in cybersecurity, privacy engineering, cryptography and applied cryptography, computer engineering, and edge/cloud computing and networking.

The position is within the Department of Electronic Systems at the Technical Faculty of IT and Design. The successful candidate will join a research environment focused on communication, networks, control systems, artificial intelligence, sound, cyber security, and robotics, and will collaborate with colleagues on research, teaching, and knowledge exchange. The role includes building an independent research profile, publishing in recognized venues, contributing to external collaborations, and helping attract research funding.

This is a full-time appointment for four years, with the possibility of a tenure-track pathway leading to promotion to Associate Professor after positive assessment. Teaching and supervision are integral parts of the role, including bachelor- and master-level teaching, project/thesis supervision, and potentially co-supervision of PhD students.
