About this position
Dear colleagues and friends,
I'm excited to share that we’ve just launched our new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Network project ( https://lnkd.in/dQC72U_v ) at METU, where I serve as the PI for Turkey. As part of this initiative, I am recruiting two PhD candidates to join my team.
The project focuses on integrating bioelectrochemical systems with anaerobic digestion, with a strong emphasis on process modeling, environmental impact assessment (e.g. LCA), and international collaboration.
The positions come with a competitive salary and are full-time employment contracts at METU—not scholarships. Due to the mobility rule, eligible candidates must not have resided in Türkiye for more than 12 months in the past 3 years (citizenship is not a restriction).

Projemiz, biyoelektrokimyasal sistemlerin anaerobik çürütme ile entegrasyonuna odaklaniyor. Çalismalar; proses modellemesi, çevresel etki degerlendirmesi (örnegin yasam döngüsü analizi – LCA) ve uluslararasi is birligiçerçevesinde yürütülecek.
Pozisyonlar, burs degil; ODTÜ’de tam zamanli istihdam sözlesmesiyle sunulmakta ve oldukça rekabetçi bir maas ve uluslararasi isbirligi saglamaktadir. Mobility rule kapsaminda, adaylarin son 3 yil içinde 12 aydan fazla Türkiye’de ikamet etmemis olmalari gerekiyor (uyruk sinirlamasi yoktur). Türkiye’ye yüksek lisans sonrasi dönmek isteyen adaylar için uygun bir pozisyon olabilir.

Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
