Applicants must have a master's degree, preferably in psychology or social psychology, or alternatively in the educational field, completed before the start of the doctoral researcher's work. Experience and interest in both quantitative (statistical) and qualitative data analysis are required, demonstrated by the master's thesis, completed courses, or prior work experience. Applicants should have knowledge about and interest in climate change and sustainability issues, openness to multidisciplinary approaches, good collaborative skills, and fluency in written and spoken English. Additional valued qualifications include knowledge of research on emotions, resilience, education, active citizenship, and mental wellbeing, as well as Finnish language skills. Applicants must also meet the requirements of the University of Oulu Graduate School (UniOGS).
