KDDI Research, Inc. is recruiting a Fixed-Term Research Fellow / Researcher (postdoc-equivalent) in policy research on digital legislation, with a focus on data protection, AI, cybersecurity, and cyber threat intelligence (CTI).

This is a fixed-term contract role with annual renewal, up to 5 years for postdoc-equivalent hires (up to 3 years for others), and a pathway to permanent employment according to company rules. Salary is listed at 4–9 million yen annually (about 4.2–8.5 million yen including allowances, excluding commuting allowance), with bonus, salary increase, commuting allowance, retirement system, and social insurance.
