Full-time Limited-Term Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Commercial Aviation Management Western University in Canada

Western University’s DAN Department of Management & Organizational Studies is recruiting for a full-time limited-term Assistant Professor or Lecturer in Commercial Aviation Management (CAM). This is an interdisciplinary faculty appointment in the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, focused on aviation education, management, and applied learning.

The role is designed for an aviation professional or scholar who can contribute to teaching, program development, and student mentorship in a rapidly growing CAM program. The successful candidate will help develop and teach new courses supporting the growth of the CAM degree, contribute to undergraduate and graduate programming, assist with student and industry engagement, and support student groups and events within the program.

Eligibility highlights: Applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and one of the following: a senior professional qualification such as an ATPL with related work experience, a master’s degree with related work experience, or a PhD in aviation or a related field. Preferred experience includes flight training institutions, aviation industry knowledge, leadership, teaching at the postsecondary level, program development, and experience with Canadian and international aviation organizations.
