About this position
Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School is seeking a Research Fellow for a one-year visiting fellowship, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years. The fellow will be based in Provo and participate fully in the intellectual and spiritual life of the law school.
The role is designed for someone aiming for a future academic career in law. The fellow will join regular works-in-progress discussions on faculty scholarship, present their own scholarship to faculty members, and continue developing an independent research agenda. During the first year, the fellow is expected to write and present at least one full-length law review article. If the fellowship is renewed, the fellow may also teach while preparing for the legal academic job market.
The position emphasizes an active research environment within the law school, with opportunities to engage closely with faculty scholarship and the broader academic mission of the institution. Fellows are expected to remain in residence at BYU Provo for the full term of the appointment.
