I’m excited to announce that we are recruiting two PhD students to join our lab at the University of Glasgow as part of the ERC Advanced Grant-funded project "MemoryIndex".
This project aims to advance our basic scientific understanding of how single neurons in the human hippocampus code episodic memories, with the long-term goal of developing a memory prosthesis.
?? PhD 1:
The role of human single neurons in coding for specific memory episodes vs. general concepts

?? PhD 2:
Modelling and validation of electrical microstimulation towards a hippocampal neural prosthesis for episodic memory
?? Find out more & apply ?? https://lnkd.in/eGgKAyhX
If you're passionate about neuroscience, memory, neurotechnology and working with human single-neuron data, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research.
To get a sense of what life and work is like in our lab, I encourage you to reach out to current and former lab members—you can find them here:

Looking forward to hearing from curious and motivated minds!
