Mohsen Ghafouri, Associate Professor at Concordia University, is seeking highly motivated MSc, PhD, and postdoctoral researchers to join the Smart Power And Renewable Technologies Advancements Lab (SPARTA-LAB).

The positions focus on research in electrical engineering and related areas, especially power systems, renewable energy, electric vehicles, inverter-based resources (IBR), wind energy systems, cybersecurity and resiliency of power systems, power system control and stability, and artificial intelligence / large language models (LLMs) for power system applications.

Selected researchers may collaborate with industrial and utility partners, contribute to high-impact research projects, publish in leading journals and conferences, and work with advanced laboratory and real-time simulation platforms.
