About this position
We are recruiting for three research positions in quantum hardware with an immediate start.
PhD position: Sources of correlated errors in superconducting circuits
In collaboration with Prof. Francisco Rouxinol, the project seeks a student interested in quantum computing and the experimental investigation of correlated error sources in superconducting circuits. The position is funded by a FAPESP PhD scholarship.
Postdoctoral position: HEMTs for low-noise cryogenic amplifiers
In collaboration with Prof. Germano Maioli Penello, the selected researcher will develop high-electron-mobility transistors (HEMTs) for quantum information applications, with emphasis on low-noise cryogenic amplification. Experience in device fabrication is desirable. Compensation is equivalent to a FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship.
Postdoctoral position: High-frequency superconducting qubits
In collaboration with Prof. Bruno Sanches and the Millimeter-Waves Center at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, the project focuses on high-frequency superconducting circuits aimed at simplifying cryogenic requirements. Experience in device fabrication and/or millimeter-wave technologies is desirable. Compensation is equivalent to a FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship.
All positions are available immediately. Interested candidates should send a direct message to the poster for application details.
Funding details
Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
