About this position
REQUIMTE - Rede de Química e Tecnologia is recruiting a PhD holder researcher for a full-time temporary position in Portugal, based at FFUP / Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto in Porto.
The project is titled “The endoplasmic reticulum as a target for pharmacological interventions in proteinopathies” and focuses on Pharmaceutical Sciences, especially Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, and related drug-discovery work. The research aims to develop and evaluate natural and semi-synthetic molecules with pharmacological activity at the endoplasmic reticulum in the context of proteinopathies.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field, with a CV showing a strong fit for the research tasks. Preferred experience includes in vitro cell culture, ER stress assessment, protein aggregation assays, and bioinformatics/docking for drug discovery.
