The Herzog Group, led by Dr Chiara Herzog, is recruiting prospective PhD students interested in epigenetics, DNA methylation, ageing, stem cells, and age-related disease. The project explores how the epigenome stores biological memory across life, how epigenetic changes relate to vulnerability and resilience, and whether epigenetic states can be rewritten to improve stem cell function and ageing outcomes.
