The project focuses on foundation models for physiological and multimodal time-series analysis, with an interdisciplinary emphasis on AI, physiological computing, and advanced signal processing. The work is described as a collaborative research project with IBM and the University at Buffalo.

Applicants should already have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong programming skills are required. Helpful background includes Python, PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks, time-frequency analysis, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), and machine learning for time-series data.
