About this position

The University of Wuppertal is offering a PhD position in health psychology within the interdisciplinary research project BergRadResort Remscheid (BergR³).

The doctoral researcher will investigate how cycling can become safer, more attractive and more natural through innovative measures and targeted behavioural change strategies. The project combines health psychology with active mobility research, quantitative methods and practical, participatory research.

A central feature of the work is collaboration with children, parents, schools and other practice partners. This provides an applied research environment in which psychological theory and behaviour-change approaches are connected to real-world mobility challenges and community participation.
