The research group, led by Assistant Professor Yizhou Yang, focuses on developing advanced porous materials with tailored nanochannels for applications in catalysis and green transition of CO2. The project emphasizes the design and synthesis of functional molecules, such as phthalocyanines and porphyrins, which serve as building blocks for constructing 1D/2D/3D polymers with permanent porosity and optimized catalytic performance.
