About this position
The Eischen Laboratory at Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting immediate postdoctoral fellows for cancer research in the lab of Dr. Christine Eischen. The group uses multiple advanced approaches to investigate molecular, biochemical, immunological, and genetic mechanisms that support cancer cell survival and growth, with the goal of identifying targetable vulnerabilities in difficult-to-treat malignancies.
The research portfolio spans aggressive, high-relapse cancers in both hematologic and solid tumor settings, including lymphomas, triple negative breast cancer, high grade serous ovarian cancer, and oral squamous cell carcinoma. Current projects include studying the immunological effects of targeted degradation of oncogenic drivers, integrating targeted strategies to expose cancer cell vulnerabilities and overcome survival mechanisms, and examining the global and specific protein and cellular consequences of targeted loss of selected E3 ligases.
Successful fellows will join an interdisciplinary environment with strong mentorship, career development, state-of-the-art core facilities, and opportunities to publish impactful manuscripts and develop independent research directions.
