About this position
Amsterdam UMC is advertising a Postdoc in AI in psychiatry at location AMC in the Netherlands. The project focuses on developing predictive AI models that improve diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment for psychiatric disorders such as depression and schizophrenia.
The research is highly interdisciplinary and combines deep learning, causal machine learning, distributed learning, unsupervised learning, foundation models, natural language processing, and explainable AI. The position is especially suitable for candidates with a nearly completed PhD in AI and experience in biomedical data analysis, image analysis, time-series analysis, or unstructured data.
Language requirements include excellent English; basic Dutch is preferred. The appointment is a one-year contract with possible one-year extension, depending on additional funding.
