About this position

Postdoctoral position at Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne in the ESCAPE Research Unit (Reims, France).

The project focuses on functional genomics of LCCL-domain proteins in Cryptosporidium. The successful candidate will help establish CRISPR-based screening, generate genetically modified parasite lines, and characterize candidate proteins linked to the crystalloid body and parasite development.

This is a 24-month fully funded postdoc, supported by Coefficient Giving (USA), with a planned start in January 2027.

Applicants should hold a PhD in parasitology, microbiology, molecular biology, cell biology, or infection biology. Prior Cryptosporidium experience is not required. Experience with CRISPR/Cas, functional genomics, fluorescence microscopy, or quantitative phenotyping is considered an advantage.

To apply, email [email protected] with a CV including publications, a cover letter, and two academic referees. Deadline: 31 October 2026.
