Shenzhen University is offering exciting opportunities for Postdoctoral Research Fellows and PhD Students in the field of Civil and Transportation Engineering, specifically focusing on the safety, durability, and reliability of concrete structures. The research group, led by Professors Weilun Wang and Mingyang Zhang, investigates topics such as concrete durability, early-age cracking, structural health monitoring, retrofitting, numerical modeling (including RBSM, Phase field, FEM), and infrastructure resilience and maintenance. Postdoctoral candidates should possess a PhD in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, or related interdisciplinary fields, while PhD applicants are expected to have a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, strong programming skills (Python, Matlab, C++), and experience in numerical simulations.
