Postdoctoral Assistant in English Literature and Culture Studies University of Basel in Switzerland

The Department of English at the University of Basel invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Assistant position in English Literature and Culture Studies, working closely with Professor Ina Habermann. This role is designed for candidates seeking to advance their academic careers by writing a habilitation thesis or second book, publishing scholarly articles, and participating in conferences. The successful applicant will also teach three courses per year at the BA and/or MA level, support the chair in academic and administrative tasks, and engage in student advising and departmental planning.
