About this position
Postdoctoral Associate / Postdoctoral Fellow opportunity at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) in collaboration with Connecticut Children's and UConn Health, based in Farmington, Connecticut, USA.
The Jalili Lab / Connecticut Children's GI collaboration is recruiting a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work on cutting-edge translational biomedical research focused on building an in vitro gastrointestinal host immune-microbiome culture model for disease modeling and therapeutic development. The project combines organoid engineering, organ-on-a-chip platforms, microfluidics, and microbiome science to study intestinal inflammatory conditions including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, and eosinophilic esophagitis.
Research methods mentioned include mouse- and patient-derived cells/organoids, microbiomes, organ chip models, microbiome sequencing, single-cell transcriptomics, metagenomics, and proteomics.
