Postdoctoral Fellow in Materials Science, Perovskite Solar Cells, PEC Cells, and Electrochemical Catalysis at UNIST Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea

UNIST’s Optoelectronic Nanomaterials Engineering Lab (ONEL), led by Associate Professor Han-Hee Cho, is recruiting 1 InnoCORE Fellow (postdoctoral position) in Ulsan, South Korea.

The research environment is centered on materials science, chemistry, and chemical engineering for solar-to-fuel energy conversion using organic semiconductors. The advertised topics include charge selective/transporting layer engineering for optoelectronic devices such as perovskite solar cells and photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells, conjugated polymer synthesis, advanced PEC cells for solar-to-fuel conversion, and electrochemical catalysis for high-performance electrocatalysts.

This is a postdoctoral opening, not a scholarship. The appointment is annual and can last up to 4 years. The salary is KRW 90 million per year, and the package includes 4 major social insurances and severance pay.

Eligibility: applicants must hold a Ph.D. within the last 5 years in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. The post is being advertised on a rolling basis, and the lab also notes open positions for graduate students/interns/postdocs on its website.
